Criminal Law
I began my legal career as a prosecuting attorney with the State Attorney's Office in Brevard County, and I have defended people accused of violating the criminal laws ever since leaving the State Attorney's Office in 1986. Having been a prosecutor, I understand what it takes for a prosecutor to get a conviction, and I understand what it takes to defend against that.
I have successfully represented clients charged with a broad spectrum of felonies and misdemeanors, including drug offenses, sexual offenses, homicides, DUI, DWLS, and other criminal traffic offenses, trespassing, theft, burglary, robbery, assault and battery, domestic violence and probation, community control and parole violations. I also handle criminal appeals and post-conviction relief.
Being arrested can be a stressful and embarrassing experience, and the outcome of a criminal case can have lifelong consequences. That's why it's critical to talk to an attorney as soon as possible, and to hire an attorney with the experience needed to successfully handle your case. I offer free consultations where I will explain the best and worst case scenarios, your defenses, and what it will cost. Whether you want to negotiate a plea or take it before a jury, call a lawyer first.
